Artist's Description
Located in Palma de Mallorca, Forn des Teatre is an iconic bakery and café. While created in the 19th century, its façade was beautifully reformed in 1916 following the Modernist movement. The bakery is renowned for its ensaimadas, which are available plain or filled with cream, apricot, chocolate, or 'cabello de ángel'. Visitors can also find local treats like sobrassadas of Montuïri, empanadas, and traditional Mallorcan liqueurs. Since 2008, an annexed cafe offers local food and wine with a wonderful terrace. A quaint bakery with an ornate facade displays various breads and pastries in its window. Outside, colorful wicker chairs are arranged invitingly.
